The following information was compiled from city of Sammamish and Issaquah police reports:
A 50-year-old man called Sammamish police the early morning of June 21 concerned about his partner’s well being. The man said his partner, who hadn’t slept in three days, left the couple’s condo door wide open, with all the lights on and a vehicle in the garage.
Not long into their search police found the 34-year-old man soaking wet, wandering through the grass at the condo complex in the 23100 block of Northeast 8th Place.
When police asked what he was doing, he said he was trying to help his boss — who works in theater production — move her dolls and belongings because she had wooden arms and legs. He also said he flew to China that night and was unable to give an address of residency.
The man was taken to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah for a mental evaluation.
BRAZEN THIEVES
A Sammamish man contacted police June 20 after someone broke into his home and stole several items from his garage while he, his wife and two small children were sleeping.
Thieves allegedly made off with several tools including hedge clippers, a pressure washer and a blower. They also stole golf clubs, tackle boxes, a tent, fishing poles and several other items from the home in the 4500 block of 231st Place Southeast.
PARKING RAGE
Sammamish police responded to a dispute between neighbors June 18 after a woman became upset at the way her neighbor’s boyfriend was parking his vehicle. She claimed she left numerous notes on the man’s car complaining about his parking in the 500 block of 225th Lane Northeast, noting he once came to her condo and shoved her.
The man told police the “crazy lady” upstairs shoved him after getting in his face.
Neither party had evidence of being assaulted and the report was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.
TOO MUCH BOOZE
Sammamish police responded to a party noise complaint June 17 in the 2800 block of 222nd Avenue Southeast. Officers observed one man barely able to stand leaving the residence and asked him his age.
The 20-year-old Issaquah resident spoke with extremely slurred speech and the odor of alcohol emanated from his mouth. The man blew a .208 before loosing consciousness. He was transported to the hospital for detox.
GET OFF MY STEP
A Sammamish man called police June 17 after a man came to his home and demanded more money for work he did. The caller disputed the work being done correctly and called authorities because he was concerned for his safety.
The home owner said the man was yelling and demanded to enter the residence in the 21800 block of Northeast 20th Way. Police banned the man from the property for one year.
BAD ROLE MODELS
A Sammamish woman called police June 15 after a car full of women stole $345 worth of items from her garage sale.
The woman, who lives in the 500 block of 208th Avenue Northeast, said the suspects had three small children with them and one was pregnant.
The home owner said they purchased about $4 worth of items and left before she noticed all the missing items, which included a Razor Scooter.
EGGED
A 27-year-old Sammamish man called police June 21 after someone hit his 2013 Mustang with several eggs. The black paint suffered a significant amount of damage.
