Congratulations to Skyline High School students Emily Baer, John Gerlach, Ariel Goh, Derrik Petrin and Evan Shieh, who are among the finalists in the 2010 competition for National Merit Scholarships.

With applications from every high school in the state, these students have been selected to a group of just 57 students. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities.
