The deadline for artists to sign up for the 6th Sammamish Arts Fair is fast approaching.

The Sammamish Arts Commission invites local artists to apply on or before May 15 to participate in the event Oct. 13-14 at Sammamish City Hall.

The highest quality and variety of fine art will be available to view and for purchase. The fair will include original works of art such as paintings, jewelry, mixed media, encaustic art, glass arts, ceramics, woodcarving, photography and textile art.

In the adjacent Sammamish Library and the outside plaza area, there will be arts encounters program, which will include performance artists, hands on family arts activities and projects during the weekend.
