The Issaquah School District is warning Second Avenue Southeast drivers of likely traffic slowdowns  during upcoming construction on the Issaquah Middle School campus, being built over summer break next to Clark Elementary School.

Pre-construction work has already begun and the upper Issaquah High parking lot has been closed.

District staff are working with students on alternative parking and police will monitor the area for traffic and parking violations.
