E. Lake Sammamish Roundabout finished by December

The project to manage traffic on a major arterial from Issaquah to Sammamish is nearly complete. The public got a first look at the project at a city-sponsored open house back in 2004.

Despite delays, the City of Issaquah is planning to complete road construction to build a roundabout at the intersection of Southeast 43rd Way and East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast by December.

The completion of the project, dependent on the weather, was published Friday, Nov. 13 in a series of answers in reply to frequently asked questions about the road project.

The Public Works project is intended to address traffic congestion and enhance safety at this location.
