Fifty-seven members from the Eastlake DECA Chapter competed at the 2013 Washington State DECA Competition in Bellevue March 7-9, setting a record high involvement for the chapter.

Eastlake’s DECA Chapter will send 20 members to Anaheim, Calif., April 23-28 for the International DECA competition.

Some notable mentions for those who qualified for the International DECA Competition in their competitive event are:

4th Place – Apparel & Accessories Marketing – Alaina Hartley

4th Place – Retail Merchandising – Aneesha Nanda

5th Place – Advertising Campaign – Jakob Graf, Tang Song and Phi VoBa

5th Place – Financial Literacy Project – Lauren Greenheck, Rachel Lang and Shabina Rayan

6th Place – Business Services Operations – Joanna Lu
