Eastridge Church will give away more than 400 toys from 4-5 p.m. Dec. 17 to kids whose families need a little help providing gifts this Christmas.

The toy giveaway will happen at their Issaquah campus and is an extension of the church’s turkey giveaway, which was held in November and where hundreds of families signed up to receive toys and attend the church’s presentation of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.”

Families are asked to contact the church to sign-up for the giveaway. Toys will be given away while supplies last.

Families are also encouraged to attend the 2 p.m. performance of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” which is being presented in conjunction with the toy giveaway. Tickets can be requested when calling or emailing the church.

The church’s Issaquah campus is located at 24205 Issaquah-Fall City Road, Issaquah.

“Christmas can be a difficult season for families struggling to make ends meet and the additional strain of providing gifts for children in the family is sometimes too much for a family’s budget,” said Eastridge Lead Pastor, Steve Jamison. “This year we want to show families that Eastridge Cares about them, even to the point of providing a gift for their children for Christmas.”

Eastridge Church’s toy giveaway comes on the heels of its ninth annual turkey giveaway in Issaquah, where it distributed 500 turkeys and bags of groceries to families in need. The church also gave free haircuts, coats, Bibles.

“The turnout we saw at our annual turkey giveaway for families to receive food as well as to receive a toy for their kids was overwhelming,” Jamison said. “We knew right away that we wanted to extend the toy giveaway to more than just the people we saw that day.
