Eastside CHADD (Children and Adults with AD/HD) support group will host Chris McCurry, Ph.D. on Sept. 20.

A clinical child psychologist practicing in Seattle, McCurry will discuss roadblocks to academic success, how parents can support development, and emotions that can impact achievement. McCurry will speak to the group at 7 p.m. at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center Surgery & Physicians Center, Room TAN 101 (downstairs), 12040 NE 128th St., Kirkland.

Teachers and school staff may earn clock hours by attending, and non-members may attend.
