The Lake Sammamish Elks Lodge is hoping a Texas Hold ’em Poker fundraiser with the Issaquah Sister Cities Commission and the American Moroccan International Exchange on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the Elks Lodge at 765 Rainier Blvd. N. in Issaquah.

Registration for the event begins at 5 p.m. and all participants must be signed up before the 6 p.m. start time. The buy-in is a $40 donation and prizes will be awarded.

Proceeds will be used to help bring two artists from Issaquah’s sister city, Chefchaouen, Morocco, to share art and culture with local schools and the community during the city’s Salmon Days.
