EvergreenHealth has recognized nine recipients of the 2014 Nursing Excellence Awards. The awards recognize registered nurses who perform beyond expectations and who contribute to nursing as a profession.
This year’s honorees are:
- Clinical Care: Silvia Catinas, Outpatient Hospice
- Innovation and Creativity: Katy Barclay, Family Maternity Center
- Patient Advocacy: Joseph LaFleur, Hospice
- Leadership: Christine (Chris) Adams, Family Maternity Center
- Education: Dana Ryan, Hospice and Home Health
- Research and Advancing the Profession: Katie Colleen (Williams) Maletich, Quality Management
- Community Service: Kathy Hall
- Mentoring: Kristin Richey, Family Maternity Center
- Rising Star: Robin Tanner, Emergency Department
The recipients were selected from among 120 nurses nominated by their peers.
