Beginning Feb. 1, King County Metro Transit will set aside priority spaces for carpoolers with free permits at six Metro park and rides, including the Redmond Transit Center and Issaquah Highlands.

Spaces will be reserved for permit holders arriving until 8:30 a.m. weekdays at select park and ride lots.

Other participating park and rides include those at Eastgate, Northgate, South Kirkland and South Renton.
