Fun event to benefit seniors support group

With an Aloha theme, it’s not surprising that a weeklong resort stay in Hawaii is one of the items up for bid. Other items to be won include a womens weekend retreat, dinners out, doggie day care, entertainment, a locker filled with frozen meat, sports memorabilia, and more.

Faith in Action, a local nonprofit that supports seniors living independently in Issaquah and Sammamish, is holding a benefit dinner and auction, “Aloha Spring.” This fun event will be held at 6 p.m., March 20, in the Mary Queen of Peace Social Hall, 1121 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish.

Tickets are available for $65 each (which includes a wonderful Hawaiian themed dinner, and hosted wine and beer) or a full table of eight persons for $500.
