Construction crews in Sammamish accidentally broke a 2-inch gas line Monday morning near the intersection of Inglewood Hill Road and 208th Avenue Northeast, the city of Sammamish stated in a press release.

Eastside Fire and Rescue and Puget Sound Energy crews tended to the scene. Traffic on Inglewood Hill Road was down to one open lane due to construction. That lane remained open, with the city experiencing normal traffic, according to city Communications Manager Tim Larson.
