Maybe someone got a bad grade, or maybe the looming school budget cuts are stressing people out – but the Lake Washington School District was the subject of a graffiti attack in Sammamish last week. On Wednesday, Feb. 10 a citizen reported that graffiti had been painted on the old Sammamish Library, on the corner of 228th Ave NE and NE Inglewood Hill Rd.

According to the police report, what looked to be “LWSD U Suck” had been painted on the wall of the old library with yellow paint.

The old library is owned by the City of Sammamish, and is in the process of being converted into a community center by the Boys and Girls Club.
