Graffiti, egged car, creepy van | ISSAQUAH BLOTTER

• A mother called police after her car was egged along Northwest Maple Street and Newport Way Northwest. Those that egged her car also reportedly threw a board with nails in the roadway.

• Someone graffitied on the community center on Rainier Boulevard South March 8, at a cleanup cost of about $400.

• A woman heard her doorbell ring, when she looked outside to see an unmarked white van with tinted windows. She yelled so the caller would know the home was occupied, and the van drove away March 8 on the 4400 block of 191st Place Southeast.

• Police responded to a man who was yelling and cursing at a woman after she called him “sweet cheeks” March 6 on the 500 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard.

• When police approached two teens, both in dark clothing and one with a hood up, they fled up a trail on the 2000 block of 15th Avenue Northeast on March 4.

• A home was burglarized on the 4400 block of 184th Avenue Southeast on March 4. A laptop, rings and a gun were all missing, a total loss of $2,900.

• Police contacted two Mormon recruiters on Jasmine Place Northwest, who said they were from Utah on March 4. The officer advised them to continue their work during the daytime as it was dark out.

• A homeowner called police after someone threw an egg at the door of a home on the 700 block of Summerhill Ridge Drive Northwest on March 5.

• Police contacted a man who was panhandling on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard on March 5. The man said he was trying to raise enough money to buy some soup for dinner.

• A Darigold truck reportedly hit a sign in the Staple’s Parking lot along Front Street North on March 5.

• A female youth was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast on March 6.

• Police arrested a 20-year-old for two warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft March 6 on the 26000 block of Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road.
