The region’s hot and dry weather has firefighters on alert in Sammamish and Issaquah this week. The hot and dry weather could create potentially dangerous fire hazards in the weeks to come.

Eastside Fire and Rescue is asking residents to be careful with fire and to obey any burn bans. About 7 of 10 fires are human caused.
