Issaquah area students place in state DECA competition

Students from two Issaquah area schools have placed in the Washington DECA Community Service Project event at the state competition this year.

Students from two Issaquah area schools have placed in the Washington DECA Community Service Project event at the state competition this year.

Braden Timm from Liberty High School was the first place winner while Katelyn Mincin, Emily Mincin and Haley Mincin from Skyline High School earned fourth place. The students competed in the “Community Service” portion of the event.

The Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC) provided funds to allow first place winners to attend the international competition.
