Issaquah closes courts, stops a number of services Wednesday

In lieu of a couple inches of snow, the city of Issaquah announced that a number of services are being closed until conditions improve.

In lieu of the couple inches of snow that fell Wednesday morning, the city of Issaquah announced that a number of services are being closed until conditions improve.

City updates:

  • Issaquah City Hall is open for regular hours, but services are limited.
  • The Passport Office is closed.
  • The Permit Center will be open until 4:30 p.m.
  • The Issaquah Municipal Court closed at 10 a.m. today. All hearings are cancelled today. No one will be penalized for failing to appear. Hearings will be reset.Hearings will be reset. For more information, call 425-837-3170.
  • Julius Boehm Pool closed at 10 a.m. today. Pool classes are cancelled.
  • The Issaquah Community Center closed at 10 a.m. today. All programs and classes are cancelled.
  • Preschool registration for existing preschool families has been rescheduled from Wednesday, Jan. 18 to Monday, Jan. 23. Numbered tickets will be distributed beginning at 7 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m.

  • Issaquah School District schools are cancelled for Wednesday, Jan. 18. For more information, check the district’s Website.

Garbage, recycling and yard waste pick-up:

  • Waste Management: Service is cancelled today.
  • Allied Waste: Service is cancelled today.
  • When weather conditions prevent safe collection, a double load will be collected at no extra cost on your next regular collection day.
