For their third consecutive year, the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank will accept donations of new gifts for more than 1,200 children of all ages.
The food bank will be accepting donations at Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. NW, east of Costco Corporate Headquarters. Donations of new, unwrapped gifts will be accepted Dec. 8 and 9 from 1 to 7 p.m.
“Families, offices and church groups can all get in on the action by shopping together or creating incentives or competitions to see who can bring in the most gifts,” Food Bank Representative Cori Walters said.
Along with gifts, the bank is also accepting stocking stuffers and wrapping supplies. The bank is also requesting gifts geared for kids ages 10 and older, as they tend to receive fewer donations. Donations will not be accepted at the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank.
