Issaquah narrowly missed a third-place team finish at Saturday’s KingCo 4A Championships at Mount Si High School.
The Eagles, who earned 164.2 points, finished five-hundreths of a point behind Ballard (164.25).
Woodinville won the meet with 176.3 points, while Inglemoor finished second with 165.925 points.
Issaquah’s Olivia Goree captured an individual title on the beam with a score of 9.45. She was the only Eagle to finish in the top three. She will compete in all four events at this weekend’s Bi-District meet.
Risa Fukuda will also participate in all four events, while Anna Fairhart will compete on the bars, beam and the floor. Eva Perry is slated to compete on the vault, beam and floor; while Taryn Chin will compete on the bars, beam and floor.
Skyline finished 10th of 12 teams with 128.475 points and Eastlake finished 12th with 107.275 points.
The Bi-District gymnastics meet takes place at 11:15 a.m., Saturday at Sammamish High School. From there the top team from District 1, along with the top three teams from District 2 move on to state. The top 19 individuals in each event also move on.
