A lot of the information families hear from friends about getting into college is just plain wrong. So we created this seminar to answer the question, “What are colleges really looking for?” We’ll take you behind the scenes of a college admissions office to show you exactly how they evaluate and select students.

How to Write Great College Essays

A lot of really good students write really bad college essays. It’s not their fault; most have not been taught what college admissions officers actually want to read about, or that great college essays need to be written very differently from high school English essays. We will explain what admissions officers actually want (and don’t want) to read, reveal the five most overused essay topics, and teach writing techniques that will help any student write more engaging and effective college essays. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
