Hateful words; theft; alarm; theft; domestic violence; unwanted guest; vehicle prowl

Hateful words

A woman contacted Issaquah Police at 10:26 p.m. on Oct. 9, after a dark colored Chevy truck drove up and down the 200 block of Mountain Park Boulevard two times each time yelling “white power.” The woman was especially concerned because her daughter is half Hispanic and her son-in-law is Arabian.

Theft

A tent was reported stolen from REI, located at 735 NW Gilman Blvd., at 12:32 p.m. on Oct. 10. The tent was valued at $150.

Alarm

Police were called after an automatic alarm went off at 4:17 p.m. on Oct. 10 at a house in the 4700 block of 194th Avenue Southeast. The homeowner was advised and police were informed that everything was OK, the homeowner had a cat and forgot to turn off the motion sensor.

Theft

A 48-year-old Redmond woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at 4:12 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Costco. She was accused of taking $87 worth of DVDs and jeans.

Domestic violence

A 29-year-old Issaquah male was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence and interfering with reporting of domestic violence at 10:50 a.m. on Oct. 12 in the 1400 block of 24th Avenue Northeast.

Unwanted guest

An man came to the Issaquah Police Department at 11:26 a.m. on Oct. 12 to report that he had been kicked out of the house where he had been staying. He stated that he had flown to Washington to stay with someone he had met on the Internet. According to him, they have not been getting along and she told him to leave.

Vehicle prowl

A 1998 Volvo S90 reported having it’s window broken out and trim damaged at 3:05 p.m. on Oct. 12 in the 1600 block of Newport Way Northwest. The incident occurred sometime between 12:30 and 3 p.m. and the loss is estimated at $350.
