It’s a nice feeling to be wanted.
Issaquah has been ranked third on a list of best places to live in the Northwest, compiled by the Movoto Real Estate Blog.
Movoto compiled a list of cities in the region with populations greater than 30,000, then compared data on amenities per capita (entertainment and other services), quality of life (a product of cost of living, home and rent prices, income and student-to-teacher ratios), total crimes, tax rates, unemployment, commute time and weather.
On the list, Issaquah was praised for its high number of entertainment and service options, it’s median household income of $84,001 and it’s pricey home and rent values.
The Eastside region made a strong showing overall, with Bellevue coming in at No. 1 on the list, Kirkland at No. 5 and Redmond at No. 6.
