The Issaquah School District announced Sunday night all district schools will be closed and all school-related activities will be canceled on Monday due to expected snow and hazardous driving conditions.

The closure includes all before- and after-school activities, including sports. Eastside Catholic will also be closed.

The Lake Washington School District, in response to inquiries made via social media, stated on Twitter a decision on whether to close schools will be made Monday morning.

With the National Weather Service calling for three-to-six inches of snow to fall in the Puget Sound Region and a winter storm warning in effect, crews in both Issaquah and Sammamish are preparing to address road conditions.

Drivers are encouraged to prepare for delays and unfavorable road conditions Monday morning.

The winter storm warning is in effect from 6 p.m. Sunday until 4 p.m. Monday. Additional snow is possible Monday night and into Tuesday.
