The Issaquah School District has received a clean audit from the State Auditor’s Office for the 12th consecutive year and increased its bond rating from AA to AA+, the highest bond rating of any school district in the state.

The district said higher bond ratings lead to increased demand for the district’s bonds.

“Our position in the robust Puget Sound economy and the district’s stable financial position enable us to efficiently access capital markets to finance our on-going capital facilities program,” the district said in a June 14 newsletter.
