Snow finally touched down in Issaquah Wednesday night.
The city has finished plowing priority roads and is starting to work on side streets. Traffic has been light, as school is out on winter break, and many chose not to brave the roads.
Thanks to a new city webpage, residents can view road conditions live from cameras throughout the city.
More snow is likely this afternoon, with a 70 percent chance, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to step a few degrees above freezing, lending question to how much of the white stuff will hang around until tonight.
Tonight’s frigid temperatures, a 17 degree low, promise an icy commute Friday. Temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing tomorrow.
The Julius Boehm Pool and Issaquah Community Center are both open today, but call ahead to make sure specific classes haven’t been canceled.
