Though a white Christmas is still unlikely, the National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting that snow could be on its way to Issaquah.
At noon on Monday, the NWS was forecasting “rain showers likely before 10pm, then rain and snow showers likely,” this evening. “Snow level 300 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. South southwest wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.”
Over the next few days, the NWS is predicting temperatures as low as 34 degrees, with Christmas Day forecast to be “partly sunny, with a high near 46.”
