Atmosphere:
iSushi is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, reminiscent of a cafeteria. A cafeteria with style, that is. The walls are brightly painted in cool colors and lights hang low from the ceiling. There are a few bamboo stalks to give a bit of an Asian feel, but that’s about it. Chairs are arranged around the moving plates of food and the food is prepared front and center for everyone to watch.
Food:
Many sushi options available are available at iSushi. In addition to all the food that travels around on the belt, you can also request sushi to be made specifically to your taste. Seeing the food lumber along is great because if you are a sushi novice, then you get a chance to see it before you eat it. If you don’t like it, it is not that big of a deal since each plate only has a few bites on. Besides sushi there are also california rolls, salads, teriakyi and dessert. All the sushi is cleared once the restaurant closes and is thrown out so the food is always fresh.
Service:
iSushi was packed during the lunch hour rush, but the wait wasn’t too bad. Our server, Gina, brought us to our seats quickly and got us started on our drinks. Since the food was already revolving past our seats, we got to start eating right away.
Would I eat here again?
The food was excellent, and already writing this review, and I find myself craving more. I may have to round up my co-workers to go again today.
