Keep Issaquah Beautiful this Saturday

The Downtown Issaquah Association will hold volunteer event "Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day" 9 a.m. to noon April 23.

The Downtown Issaquah Association will hold volunteer event “Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day” 9 a.m. to noon April 23.

The Association seeks able-bodied and diversely qualified volunteers to take on tasks like litter pickup, sweeping, digging and planting. Projects will take place in downtown, on Gilman Boulevard, on State Route 900, Newport Way, Lake Sammamish State Park and the intersection of Northwest Sammamish Road and Southeast 56th Street.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the historic Shell Station and Hailstone Feed Store at 232 Front St. N. for check-in.
