Pile driving work on East Lake Sammamish Parkway is taking longer than anticipated, and the City of Sammamish expects some delay to its work schedule. According to the city, this work will be completed by Tuesday.

There will be a number of lane closures on the parkway this week.

Single-lane closures will be in place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flaggers will give priority to the northbound direction in the morning and to the southbound direction in the afternoon.

Drivers are advised to plan for delays of up to 15 minutes or more. Delays may be longer when driving in the non-priority direction.

Bicyclists are strongly advised to take alternate routes during the lane closure house listed above. Riding through the active construction zone is not recommended.
