This is the last week to view the Heron Rookery Project 2013 at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands. The closing reception is Saturday, Sept. 28, from 6-8 p.m.

This year’s exhibit suspends the flock in a two-dimensional format from the walls. The “canvas” takes the form of one of three different silhouettes scroll-cut from hardboard by June Sekiguchi.

Participating artists for 2013 are Jill Beppu, Valaree Cox, Thendara Kida Gee, Yiota Georges, Don Haggerty, Melissa Koch, Jan Lipetz, Fred Lisaius, Kelly Lyles, Anna Macrae, Chris Maynard, Garima Naredi, Monica Phillips, Julie Rackley andLiz Ruest.
