Man walks dog, gets arrest | The Issaquah Blotter

A compilation of event according to the Issaquah police department

The following information was compiled from City of Issaquah police reports:

– Someone called police after watching a man walk his dog aimlessly around a bank parking lot for an hour. When police arrived they discovered the 20-year-old had a warrant for his arrest June 17 on the 1200 block of Northwest Mall Street.

– A man chased a teenager who reportedly tried to shoplift two half cases of Coors Light from a store. The teenager took off in a car with others, but the caller didn’t get an accurate license plate June 16 on the 1500 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard.

– A 25-year-old Sammamish man was arrested for driving drunk at the traffic circle at Southeast 43rd Street June 17.

– Eastside Fire and Rescue helped cut apart a tree that had blocked Southeast Forest Drive June 18. The firefighters then shoved it into a nearby ditch June 18.

– There was a report of kids skating down the Issaquah Highlands June 17. Police said they’d make the traffic enforcement officers aware of the problem.

– An 18-year-old girl was arrested for stealing $14.63 in items from the Fred Meyer June 18.

– Police found a drunk man on the 100 block of East Sunset Way, when they discovered he had a warrant for his arrest June 19.

– Someone reportedly cut the top of a convertible, a $5,000 loss on the 4500 block of 190th Avenue Southeast June 21.

– A woman lost her car after spending an evening bar hopping with friends on Front Street North. She took a cab home, but when she came back the next day, she couldn’t remember where she parked it. Eventually a friend helped her find it June 19.

– Issaquah police contacted a drunk transient in the park at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery to tell him to stop urinating in public and camping there June 19.

– A pizza place on Front Street South called police after some teens came in asking for tinfoil. The callers thought the youths were going to use them to do drugs June 19.

– 56-yerarold woman was arrested for domestic violence assault on the 5200 block of 236th Place Southeast June 19.

– Some tools were reported stolen from a toolbox in the back of a truck, a $1,050 loss, on the 4700 block of 193rd Place Southeast June 21.

– A car window was smashed and purse taken from the 1000 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard June 15.

– Police arrested a minor who was driving drunk on the 4400 block of 190th Avenue Southeast June 22.

– A 33-year-old Sammamish man was arrested for driving drunk on the 6000 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast June 16.
