The following information was compiled from city of Issaquah police reports:
– Someone called police June 2 after seeing what appeared to be two dead women in the back of a car near a party store on Northwest Gilman Boulevard. When police investigated, they discovered that the car had three or four mannequin heads in the back window. The caller confirmed that was the suspicious car.
– There were about 22 reports of illegal use of fireworks within Issaquah city limits from July 1-4. There were no reported injuries of fires.
– Neighbors called police July 1 after a teenager was caught “doing donuts” in the street on the 18100 block of Southeast 42nd Place.
– Police checked on a man who was sleeping in his car July 2 and accidentally honking his horn when he turned. Police advised he sleep in the passenger seat to avoid honking. He was sleeping outside his grandparent’s home on the 900 block of Idylwood Drive Southwest.
– Someone called police July 3 after dealing with an ongoing problem of people smoking marijuana on the 700 block of Front Street South.
– A woman called police after Issaquah jail inmates were coming out of prison and wandering over to the Senior Center for free coffee and donuts June 29. Police advised she post the age limits.
– A female employee called 911 at about 11 a.m. June 24 after a man began winking and staring at the lone worker from outside. As soon as she picked up the phone at the 600 block of Northeast Gilman Boulevard, the man took off.
– A woman called police June 25 after discovering that someone had posted threats toward her on Facebook.
– Police were sent to a Denny’s restaurant on Gilman Boulevard on June 26 to help escort an unwelcome patron. Each time they asked the man, he looked up and then put his head back on the table to sleep.
– Police cleaned up three drug needles alongside a ditch in the roadway along Village Park Drive Southeast on June 26. The officer also disposed of a metal spoon with drug residue on it.
