Maraldo to seek re-election

Issaquah School Board member, Marnie Maraldo, plans to run for re-election for the District 2 position in November. She is running unopposed.

 

Issaquah School Board member, Marnie Maraldo, plans to run for re-election for the District 2 position in November. She is running unopposed.

Maraldo is serving her first term on the school board, and looks forward to continuing the work of managing the district through a challenging fiscal period.

“In the past 4 years, the district has faced $16 million in funding cuts from the state, and yet still provide the excellent education our community has come to expect,” she said.

In her role as the board’s legislative representatives, Maraldo has met with legislators to advocate for full funding of basic education and testified before both the House and Senate education committees.
