Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish will celebrate its 25th Anniversary from Oct. 26-28. The event coincides with the church’s annual Marian Festival, which will include music, prayer, worship and social events.
The festival begins Friday with a 7 p.m. concert featuring international music missionary, Danielle Rose, followed by a reception in the parish social hall.
On Saturday, the church will celebrate Mass at 5 p.m. with the Most Reverend J. Peter Sartain, Archbishop of Seattle, presiding. A dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the social hall will follow. A number of former clergy, lay staff members and founding parishioners will be present.
On Sunday, additional Masses in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be offered.
Following the Living Rosary at 1 p.m., there will be a reception in the social hall for all participants and observers.
