Sammamish residents are invited to meet Dr. Traci Pierce, candidate for the Lake Washington School District superintendent position, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Feb. 7 at City Hall.

This reception was originally scheduled for Jan. 18, but was cancelled due to the snow storm.

Dr. Pierce is currently the deputy superintendent of instructional services for LWSD and has not yet been hired as superintendent. There has been a series of gatherings throughout the district to meet Dr. Pierce will introduce her to the community while asking for public input to the school board.

Attendees will be provided with a card to write down any comments to share with the school board. In addition, comments may be emailed directly to board@lwsd.org and each board member will automatically receive the email.
