The Sammamish City Council will meet as planned Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., however a scheduled meet and greet with Dr. Traci Pierce, candidate for Lake Washington School District superintendent, which was scheduled at 5:30 p.m., has been canceled. The meet and greet with Pierce will be rescheduled.

The meeting of the Sammamish Youth Board scheduled for Wednesday, from 6-7 p.m., at city hall has also been canceled.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of snow in Sammamish Tuesday, with total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. By evening, temperatures will reach a low of around 28, with new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. There will be east, northeast winds between 5 and 8 mph.There is a 100 percent chance of snow predicted for Wednesday with accumulation of 5 to 9 inches on the plateau.
