City road crews will continue clearing the main arterials in Sammamish as the snow continues through mid-week. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution. Below freezing temperatutes at night will make roads icy and treacherous, city officials say.

The National Weather Service forecast for Sammamish:

Monday: Snow showers, mainly after 10 a.m.. High near 33. South wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Monday Night: Snow showers. Low around 29. South southwest wind between 8 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tuesday: Snow showers. High near 34. Southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tuesday Night: Snow. Low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow. High near 36. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible
