The Issaquah Highlands Community Association’s Architectural Review Committee, Board of Directors and Community Management have updated and streamlined the project application process.
Under the new guidelines some projects will no longer need a formal application review or will require review fees, such as installing air conditioners, fences and incremental landscaping projects.
There are also new guidelines for enclosures which store trash, recycle or waste bins outside.
With air conditioners now only notification is required, but residents can still request a review if they choose.
Under the new trash and recycle bin guidelines bins may be placed outside at the location designated by the waste collection provider for 12 hours before and after pickup.
Bins placed outside other than those time needs to be in an ARC approved enclosure to the side or rear of the home.
