The Issaquah School District is inviting residents to submit their suggestions for the name of the elementary school which is set to open on the Sammamish Plateau in September 2010, currently referred to as Elementary 15, or E15.

The school will be headed by former Challenger Elementary Principal Robin Earl.

Deadline for suggestions is Nov. 2, at 4 p.m. A selection committee will choose between 3 and 5 names to give to the School Board for consideration. The winning name will be announced Dec. 9.

It is suggested names reflect local places, geographical landmarks, or persons who have contributed to education in the district.
