There was no garbage, recycling or compost collection from Waste Management and Rabanco yesterday, Thursday, Nov. 26 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Service will be delayed by one day for the balance of the week, with Thursday customers collected on Friday and Friday customers collected on Saturday. Normal collection schedules return next Monday.

This Thanksgiving, remember to compost your vegetable trimmings, turkey bones, food related paper items, and food scraps. These items can go in your green compost/yard waste container. Garbage and recycling is collected as usual from residential and commercial customers on all weekday holidays except Thanksgiving (Nov. 26), Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
