Jan. 29
FOUND: At 8:56 a.m., police recovered a car found in the 18500 block of Northwest Montreux Drive.
KINDNESS: At 12:14 p.m., two officers responded to the 1300 block of NW Gilman Blvd. where a man had been sitting in McDonald’s for the past six hours. The man told police he was homeless and hadn’t eaten in a few days. The officers bought the man lunch and gave him money for the bus. He left without incident.
Jan. 30
VEHICLE PROWL: At 3:59 p.m., a complainant reported of a theft from their vehicle parked in the 900 block of NE High St. The lock on the car was damaged and tools were stolen at a loss of $200.
Jan. 31
THEFT: At 4:34 a.m., a theft was reported in progress at a building located in the 700 block of Mountain Park Blvd. SW. Shoes, a vacuum cleaner and leaf blower were reported stolen at a loss of $310.
NOT MUCH OF A DASHER: At 2:55 p.m., police arrested a 33-year-old Spokane man who stole a meal and drinks from an establishment located in the 100 block of Front St. N.
FISHING FOR BASS: Shortly before 10:07 p.m., a caller complained of heavy bass coming from a building located in the 300 block of West Sunset Way. A responding officer did not hear bass but could hear residents talking, so he asked them to keep it down. The resident agreed.
Feb. 1
PARAPHERNALIA: At 2:20 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of 17th Ave. NW, where a 26-year-old Seattle man was reported as suspicious. The man was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: A mailbox was reportedly damaged at a loss of $100 at a house in the 5200 block of 229th Ave. SE.
Feb. 2
SLEEPING: At 3:42 p.m., a caller reported a man who refused to leave the area outside of a store located in the 6000 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE. An officer found the man sleeping with his legs in the travel lane of the parking lot. The officer woke him up and made him move along.
MOST PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT INK: A resident of the 100 block of West Sunset Way contacted police because she was worried a printer she had received in a trade with a neighbor could be stolen. She said she didn’t want it to be stolen, because she liked it. The printer did not return as stolen when the officer checked the serial number.
OVERCAFFEINATED: At 7:06 p.m., police arrested a 37-year-old Issaquah man for the theft of energy drinks from a store located in the 100 block of E. Sunset Way.
Feb. 3
20 IS PLENTY: $20 was reported stolen from the glove box of a car parked in the 300 block of SE Crystal Creek Circle.
