The Issaquah Schools Foundation has opened its annual online auction.
The auction will raise funds for the Foundation’s Nourish Every Mind campaign, which includes an upcoming luncheon and breakfast for further fundraising.
Nourish Every Mind collects money each year which the Foundation then reinvests into the Issaquah School District via programs and academic enrichment grants. Foundation funding pays for programs like after-school homework labs, the VOICE mentorship program and the Healthy Youth Initiative.
The 2016 auction includes items like trips to Sonoma Wine Country.
Grand Ridge Elementary School Principal Christy Otley committed to build Legos with a student and their friend, as well as lunch and puzzles at Mod Pizza.
“I am happy to support their efforts,” Otley said.
Another prize up for auction is a tour of the “hidden” areas of Pacific Cascade Middle School, including its underground tunnel network.
The auction is online on the Issaquah Schools Foundation’s homepage, issaquahschoolsfoundation.org, through April 26.
The 18th annual Nourish Every Mind Luncheon will take place 11 a.m. April 28 at the Issaquah Community Center.
The third annual breakfast will take place 7 a.m. May 4 at Eastridge Church.
