Part of East Lake Sammamish Parkway closed due to brush fire

Eastside Fire & Rescue firefighters are currently mopping up a brush fire in the 3200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast, Eastside Fire Deputy Chief Greg Tryon said.

UPDATE: The Parkway opened shortly after 5 p.m., according to the city of Sammamish.

Eastside Fire & Rescue firefighters are currently mopping up a brush fire in the 3200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast in Sammamish, Eastside Fire Deputy Chief Greg Tryon said.

The Parkway between Inglewood Hill Road and the northern city limits are currently closed due to efforts to control the flames that were threatening a home, according to a Sammamish release.

The fire, likely human caused, was first reported shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured.

The Redmond Fire Department assisted.
