Pauly ahead in first wave of primary results | UPDATE

In the latest wave of primary election results from King County, updated at approximately 4 p.m. Aug. 2, Mary Lou Pauly was the frontrunner in the Issaquah mayoral race, with 48.6 percent of the vote.

Paul Winterstein trailed her with 34.38 percent, and Claude Blumenzweig earned 16.76 percent.

Pauly and Winterstein both sit on the Issaquah City Council. Blumenzweig is a local business owner.

The final results of the primary election will be certified on Aug. 15.
