Police clear suspicious package at Issaquah courthouse
A suspicious package found left outside the King County District Court's Issaquah Courthouse was found to be empty.

A suspicious package found left outside the King County District Courthouse in Issaquah on Friday was found to be empty.
The package was reported at 8:35 a.m., and Bellevue Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to the scene. Investigators determined the package was empty.
Employees were evacuated from the courthouse during the investigation.
Candidates can begin filing at 8 a.m. Monday (May 5) for more than 3,200 seats on city councils, county commissions, school boards, and special districts.
