Sammamish Police were searching for a white male, in his 40s, who robbed the Pine Lake Bank of America at 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to King County spokesman Sgt. Stanley Seo.

Surrounding schools, including Pine Lake Middle School, were in lockdown for about an hour Wednesday afternoon.

Police used a K9 unit to track the suspect, who was last seen running east away from the bank, according to the department’s Twitter post. The suspect is still on the loose.
