March 4
VANDALIZED: At 8:54 a.m., the owner of a Honda Civic located in the 1600 block of 24th Place NE reported the vehicle had been keyed and its dashboard had been stolen. The reported loss was $11,500.
SYRINGES: An officer recovered two syringes from the ground at the intersection of Northeast Crescent Drive and Front Street North.
PROWL: At 2:27 p.m., a caller reported a theft from their Subaru Crossfire parked in the 5100 block of 235th Place SE. A wallet and its contents were taken from the car at a loss of $10.
TARGETED: At 4:32 p.m., an officer responded to the Target store in the 700 block of NW Gilman Blvd., where a man had been reported yelling racial slurs at employees. The suspect was not found.
March 5
WHAT?: At 6:10 p.m., an officer was called out to a reported argument between neighbors in the 600 block of Wildwood Blvd. SW. It turned out there was no issue. One of the parties was extremely hard of hearing and her neighbor needed to shout in order to carry on a conversation.
SUSPENDED: At 11:06 p.m., police arrested a 66-year-old Seattle man for driving on a suspended license on Interstate 90.
March 6
GTA: At 12:43 a.m., a $4,000 black Suzuki DRZ400 was reported stolen from the 100 block of NE Creek Way.
PUMP UP THE VOLUME: At 12:01 p.m., an officer was advised of a noise complaint against the import car meet at the XXX Root Beer on Northeast Gilman Boulevard. The complaint regarded the bass from the music being played at the event.
BURGLARY: At 3:18 p.m., an officer took a burglary report from a residence in the 1700 block of NW Sammamish Rd. Losses totaled $1,500 from a stolen television, DVDs and clothing.
RECKLESS: At 3:41 p.m., an officer pursued a vehicle that had been reported to be swerving and driving on the sidewalk. The officer contacted the driver at the intersection of West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Southeast 40th Place. She was found to be sober, but she reported she had become lost searching for an address in South Cove — the reckless driving had occurred while she was attempting to turn around. The officer escorted her to the address.
COLLARED: At 5:23 p.m., two 21-year-old men were arrested for theft and criminally trespassing at a location in the 1800 block of 10th Ave. NW.
March 7
DIRT BIKE: At 3:10 p.m. in the 300 block of NE Birch St., a $1,000 Kawasaki KLX 250 was reported stolen.
PACKAGE THEFT: At 5:35 p.m., a package was reported stolen from the 200 block of First Ave. NW. Loss was $500 in stolen clothes and shoes.
March 8
INKY DEPTHS: At 1:55 p.m., police arrested a 20-year-old Renton man for the theft of nearly $950 of ink cartridges from a store in the 700 block of NW Gilman Blvd.
DOMESTIC: At 6:32 p.m. in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Drive SW, police arrested a 64-year-old Issaquah man for fourth-degree assault and obstruction.
UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF STEALING: At 9:54 p.m., residents returned to their home in the 2700 block of NE Magnolia St. to find a juvenile male removing some hanged lights from their porch. The male took off running after being seen by the homeowners. He was not found.
March 9
THEFT: At 9:13 a.m., a laptop, laptop bag and wallet were reported stolen from a KIA Sorento parked in the 5700 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.
BLUE HELPING BLUE: At 1:51 p.m., an officer gave an off-duty Shoreline PD officer’s patrol car a jump start in the 200 block of NW Dogwood St.
TRANSCRIBE THIS: At 7:40 p.m., a caller reported the theft of $9,000 in stenography equipment from an Infiniti G37 parked in the 900 block of NE Park Drive.
March 10
SHOPLIFT: At 3:36 p.m., officers arrested a 40-year-old Snoqualmie woman for the theft of various items from a location in the 1800 block of 12th Ave. NW.
DOMESTIC: At 7:12 p.m., officers were called to investigate a domestic incident in the 2500 block of 33rd Ave. NE. A 42-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for malicious mischief.
