Issaquah Police and the Seattle FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Key Bank branch located in the 400 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard around 1:56 p.m. July 11.
Issaquah police commander Stan Conrad said that bank employees believe it the same suspect that robbed the bank last month.
“He’s implied he has a weapon, but has never shown one,” Conrad said.
Employees report the man is a very thin, white man, about 5-feet 6-inches, to 5-feet 7-inches tall. He entered the bank wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, black stocking cap, dark sunglasses and something covering his face and mouth.
The man demanded money from the teller and knocked a security guard to the ground as he fled the bank on foot eastbound.
Investigators believe the same man threatened to kill a teller and robbed a Wells Fargo branch in Des Moines June 21.
