Crowds of locals and tourists didn’t let wind and rain stop them from experiencing all that Salmon Days 2016 had to offer this past Saturday, Oct. 1.
The festival included hundreds of arts, crafts, business and nonprofit vendors, including a booth featuring the impressive creations of visiting artists from Chefchaouen, Morocco, Issaquah’s sister city.
At the Field of Fun, kids enjoyed human hamster balls, multiple bouncy houses, mini train rides, fish print crafts, a soccer field, a toymaker’s workshop, trampolines, a kids entertainment stage, and diving performances by Puget Sound DockDogs.
Five stages throughout town provided musical entertainment for attendees all day long. This year, the David Harris Community Stage was the festival’s main stage, with a beer garden right next door to quench the thirst of music fans.
